NationalUganda, WFP Agree to Boost Local Food Procurement, Support Smallholder Farmers
The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Haruna Kasolo Kyeyune, has received the credentials of the new World Food Programme (WFP) Country Director to Uganda, Ms. Baimankay Sankoh. The diplomatic engagement focused on deepening cooperation through increased local food procurement, expanded school feeding programs, and leveraging Uganda's year-round agricultural production to anchor regional food security.
